What is the cost of a roll-away bed at the Marriott RTP for the convention as several of us will be sharing a room?
$15 plus tax per night. Roll-away beds can only be used in rooms with a king bed. Fire code will not allow a roll-away bed in a room with two double beds.
The breakfast during the convention will open at 6am each day. This will help to spread out the crush of folks. It will also accommodate folks who leave early for ops and tours.

Dinner Banquet featuring Keynote presenter Bernie Kempinski. Bernard Kempinski is a freelance writer who has written dozens of magazine articles and several books on model railroading subjects. He is an active model railroader, currently with two operating layouts in his house. He has built many many models on commission for museums and individuals. As a photographer he has won awards for both model railroad and landscape subjects. A former U.S. Army captain, Bernard works as a defense analyst in Washington, D.C. He is also the proprietor of Alkem Scale Models, a cottage business that provides fine scale kits and parts to model railroaders.
